Projects happening here
WA’s essential care sector is being reshaped, unlocking opportunities for skilled workers in health, aged care, and medical innovation.
Across the state, health and mental health services and infrastructure are expanding to increase hospital capacity and modernise care across WA.
These projects include dementia-friendly hospital designs, culturally safe aged care facilities for First Nations communities, and the expansion of the WA Virtual Emergency Department to improve access to specialist care.
Initiatives such as free full-time kindy trials, the Central Great Southern Women’s Refuge, and major expansions in childcare, aged care, and hospital services are also strengthening communities.
This expansion is creating pathways into nursing, allied health, mental health support, and aged care – opening doors to rewarding careers and hands-on training throughout WA.
